Which residents can expect to see a "dramatic law enforcement increase this weekend?" ("Police bolster patrol forces," June 29).

Those of us residing in the Western Police District currently are experiencing 21 percent of the city's homicides.

Will we again see "the other Baltimore" — the downtown waterfront — reap all the extra police patrols over the holiday weekend, or will the additional officers actually be deployed where they are most needed?
