Thanks for your excellent coverage of the run-up to the Republican presidential primary contest in Iowa. For me, the choice is simple:

I cannot support a candidate who wants to reverse Roe v. Wade; I cannot support a candidate who denies the threat from climate change; and I cannot support a candidate who wishes to forcibly expel 11 million undocumented workers and their families.

Nor can I support a candidate who wishes to balance the budget on the backs of working people and the middle class by continuing tax breaks for millionaires while curtailing Medicare and Social Security benefits.

All the Republican candidates have pledged their support of these egregious principles. Therefore, I consider each of them to be unacceptable
