The Heimert family would like to thank members of the community for their kind expressions of sympathy on our recent loss. Dotti was my wife, my life and my hero, and the celebration of her work at the Academy of Arts in Easton Dec. 10 was an especially wonderful tribute.

Our sincere gratitude goes out to all who made it possible and had a hand in its success — the arrangement and hanging of the art pieces, the food and the warmth that permeated the academy that afternoon. The event is yet another reminder of how fortunate we are to belong to such a generous community.

Our family deeply appreciates all those who sent such affectionate cards, called with the kindest words, contributed on her behalf to Breast Cancer Research and thought of us during those days.
