I remember distinctly the editors/papers view on Ellen R. Sauerbrey objecting to the fact that dead people and prisoners voted when she lost the election ("Robocall indictments: the cost of dirty tricks," June 17). Because she was a Republican, the whole thing was just pooh poohed and people said she was crazy, although very little was done in the way of an investigation of the charges even though some of it was found to be true.
