City isn't to blame for lead poisoning

Maybe those suing Baltimore City for their illnesses due to lead paint should be suing their parents or caregivers. They were the ones responsible for their health problems.

I, like many others, including my children, was raised in houses with lead paint because that's all there was. We were not allowed to chew on the window sills; if the paint chipped, peeled or whatever, it was cleaned up.

All it took was parental care and guidance. I am sorry for their health problems, but it is not the fault of Baltimore City regardless of what the jury or judges rule.
