No wonder we have a problem with illegal immigration

In Maryland we have sanctuary cities and counties, go to great lengths to ensure illegal aliens have full access to all social services and now propose giving illegals in-state tuition at our public colleges and universities. And we wonder why we have a problem with illegal immigration? Why do we feel it is necessary to encourage illegal immigration? Is it because not enough citizens are utilizing our social services and unemployment benefits? In-state tuition for illegals will make it more difficult for in-and out-of-state citizens to attend our public colleges and universities, but it will encourage more illegals to come to Maryland. Is this in any way sound economic and social policy?
