Am I missing something? Whether we refer to them as "undocumented," "illegal," or "new Americans," if the student is here in one of those capacities, meaning the family is also here under one of those designations, why are we even discussing tuition at all ("Tuition bill takes a step forward in Senate," March 10)? Shouldn't we be referring them to ICE or some other federal organization?
