The headline on Feb. 20, "Some Catholics support gay marriage," is misleading. Those who only read headlines may have got the erroneous impression that the Catholic Church condones such unions. To your credit, you did state in the article that the Church still opposes same-sex marriage.

To have used the following headline, "Catholic Church continues to oppose gay marriage," would have been just as accurate and less subject to misinterpretation.
