Regarding the Dec. 20 article about two men being charged $90 apiece for not having life vests ("Rescuers fined after freeing deer from Patapsco ice"
I thought this was absurd, as I've never heard of such a fine, and given the fact they were doing a good deed by rescuing a deer stuck in the ice.
On top of that, they risked being arrested?
Meanwhile, animal killer Michael Vick earns a fortune, and the Humane Society is considering allowing him to own another dog.
This all just proves how topsy-turvy the justice system is nowadays.
