The Sun does everything it can to demonize, denigrate, misrepresent or in many cases conveniently (for The Sun) ignore those of us who proudly proclaim ourselves Conservatives.

Your recent editorial ("One nation," Oct. 2) is a good example of this proclivity on the part of The Sun to do a hatchet job on people opposed to The Sun's radical agenda.

Among the many "bad mouth" references to the tea party in the Oct. 2 editorial are such words and phrases as: "...the tea party's fat-cat corporate sponsors..."; " ...virtually all-white membership..."; "a reactionary movement that is hostile or indifferent to the hard-won gains King and his followers struggled to achieve..."; "...stir up anti-government hysteria..."; "...cynical disregard..."; "...the tea party's attempted appropriation of King's moral authority..."' "...it's claim to speak for a broad swath of the American middle-class ..."; "...tea partiers, as a group, are significantly better off financially than most Americans..."; "...have not suffered nearly as much from the loss of income and employment plaguing the rest of the country..."; "...getting a good deal of their money from just a few wealthy individuals with long-standing ties to ultra-conservative organizations and causes makes the movement's populist pretentions doubly suspect..."; "...the tea party's backward-looking agenda..."; "...its narrow-minded interpretation of the Constitution..."; "...at bottom an attempt to deny the multi-ethnic, multicultural diversity, tolerance and adaptability to change that made America great..."; "...look for solutions in some idyllic vision of an 18th-century rural society..."
