In response to the Sun's Editorial "Buying Influence?" (Sept. 8), I understand that it is important for the media to expose from whom a particular candidate receives campaign contributions, but I am unsure why The Sun felt it was necessary to focus upon the two lawyers who facilitated the fundraising events. It seems that this was an unnecessary criticism of these two individuals, as if they were single-handedly bankrolling and purchasing the election for these candidates, which is just not true. The editorial should have focused more upon the developers who made the contributions, not the individuals who held the events.
