As I understand it, the reason for opposition to Muslims building a center containing a mosque near Ground Zero, one of the sites where attacks were made on the United States, is because Muslims were responsible for the attacks.

What I am unable to understand is why the opponents are not against the removal of all buildings containing mosques in the United States.
