I am often amazed how the Sun can produce a informative and excellent paper and yet fail on one section, that being Maryland Voices.
The editorials are filled with extreme bias and arrogantly filled with untrue and unproven statements. What prompted this letter were the two articles, first on Immigration ("In a tough political climate, O'Malley and his fellow Democrats must stand firm and refuse to countenance immigrant-bashing or racial profiling," July 13) and finally on the tea party movement ("Rejecting extremism: NAACP was right to demand that tea party advocates condemn racism," July 16).
The tea party is successful because it is without party affiliation and only concerned with the direction of our once great republic - all are welcome.
I enjoy and respect the various articles on the Commentary page. They afford a variety of opinions and cover the political and social spectrum. The authors sign their names and include their e-mail. Perhaps the authors of Maryland Voices should do the same.
