This is it. I've had it. I am outraged. What chutzpah! The article in The Baltimore Sun ("Israeli leader's 'makeup visit'," July 6) stated in a headline: "Obama expected to urge Netanyahu to issue apology for raid." I couldn't believe what I was reading. An apology, just to have a picture taken together?

There is nothing for Mr. Netanyahu to apologize for--unless Mr. Obama thinks that violating blockades during wartime is okay, or allowing in people who call themselves "humanitarian or peace activists" who were linked to and/or are supporters of Hamas, Syria and Al Qaeda or were mercenaries paid to provoke the Israeli soldiers who attempted to inspect the cargo and/or identify the people on board to see if they were smuggling weapons or terrorists. This is called legitimate self-defense.

Also, this Turkish ambush provocation from the "Flotilla" ship was much more than a simple "rift" or a matter of the Israeli Prime Minister having his picture taken with President Obama as a gesture to make up for something that the people on the ship started. After all, it was only after the so-called humanitarian activists aboard the "Flotilla" attacked the commandos with knives, axes, clubs, bars, and threw one Israeli overboard, that the Israelis used live fire.

If an apology is the intention of our president's meeting with Mr. Netanyahu then Mr. Obama has it all wrong. Peace or humanitarian activists don't carry knives, axes or crowbars when they go on a peaceful mission. They don't associate themselves with known Hamas and al Qaeda terrorists and if they have only humanitarian aid to bring into Gaza they would not refuse to have their cargo inspected if they had nothing to hide. They would not have attacked the Israeli people for seeking to inspect the aggressive activists violations of the blockade.

When the soldiers were forced to fire on their attackers, those dead so-called "peace activists" were found with thousands of dollars in their pants pockets. They were found to be hired mercenaries paid to incite violence in order to make it look like Israel was preventing humanitarian aid from getting into Gaza. It was all a Turkish and Hamas plot to undermine Israel's sovereignty and discredit them while the passengers hid behind a so-called peace front. Also, Turkish President Recep Erdogan has allied himself with Iran and Hamas; so he is not a mo.derate Islamic leader.

What would the U.S. do if these same people were violating our U.S. blockades during a war? Oh, excuse me, my mistake. America dosen't have to worry about any of our blockade violations. We have a president who has recently invited thousands of the Arabs who call themselves Palestinians into our country in what he terms giving refuge to "Palestinian victims of Gaza." Victims? Didn't over 60% of the "Palestinian" people vote for Hamas in Gaza, instead of Fatah? So what makes them victims? It's the Israelis who have been the victims of numerous rocket attacks and fatal ambushes on Israeli civilians coming from Gaza via Hamas and its Palestinian supporters. This has been going on for years since Israel turned over Gush Katif, Gaza, to the Fatah "PA," ironically, in the "land for peace" deals. Not to mention the Hamas kidnapping of IDF soldier Gilad Schalit who has been held for four years. Where is Mr. Obama's voice about this lack of humanitarian aid and international rights for Israel's prisoners of war and its innocent civilian victims?

I think our president should apologize to Mr. Netanyahu for displaying more compassion for America's enemies than for our allies. Until he does, frankly I wouldn't want to have my picture taken with him. Something is not kosher here!
