Reject Kagan

Solicitor General Elena Kagan's ascendency to the Supreme Court should be emphatically rejected.

Ms. Kagan has not yet had time to develop a mature philosophy of judging. Her vision of judicial power and its role is reflected in her adulation of former Israeli Chief Justice Aharon Barak, whom Ms. Kagan once called her "judicial hero."

Former U.S. Supreme Court nominee Robert Bork, however, called Judge Barak "one of the most activist judges" and quite possibly "the worst judge on the planet."

Speaking on behalf of over 850 members of the Rabbinical Alliance of America, Rabbi Yehuda Levin also called Ms. Kagan, who is Jewish, "non-kosher and not fit to serve on the Supreme Court or any other court." He said it was "clear" from Ms. Kagan's background championing abortion and the homosexual agenda that she will function as a "flame-throwing radical, hastening society's already steep decline into Sodom and Gommorah." He added that Kagan's long line of forbearers, presumably tracing back to Sinai, "would have sacrificed their lives rather than embrace the anti-God, counter-sanctity agenda that she has lived and promoted."

Americans need to know of Ms. Kagan's agenda-driven approach to legal interpretation, which is undemocratic, a threat to our system and essentially out of step with the mainstream of the American public.
