So far this year there have been 88 homicides In Baltimore. From my research, there have been about 40 shootings in the past three months. This past Father's Day weekend, 12 people were shot, and of them were pronounced dead. Baltimore is becoming one of the most dangerous cities out there. Sometimes it is not safe to be anywhere.

I do not agree with the way Baltimore is handling the crime that goes on. There are too many people out there who illegally own guns and use them in crimes against people. Sometimes the person that gets hurt is not always lucky. Sometimes they die, and then it becomes a homicide. There are people out there robbing stores, selling drugs, robbing cars and forcing people to do things they don't want to do. It's a scary world out there. It's scary enough that you would like your kids to stay little so that you can protect them forever, but that's not the way life goes.

I feel a lot of police see bad things happening and just let it go. There are a lot of police officers that just want to fit in. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of great police officers out there, but the bad ones make the good ones look bad. So I believe that the leaders in the police department should go through their ranks and get rid of the officers not doing their jobs!
