Court verdict had nothing to do with Councilman Oliver

For whatever reason, the writer or writers of The Sun have made this case involving Kelli Oliver and Talaya Kirkland about Councilman Kenneth N. Oliver. This biased reporting is your problem, not his.

The only connection Councilman Oliver had with the court case is being father and grandfather respectively of Ms. Oliver and Ms. Kirkland.

I am not rehashing the case or the judge's decision. Anyone who wants to hear/read the true version of what occurred should purchase the DVD/transcript from the court. You will hear an unbiased account that's not riddled with personal opinion.

The decision handed down by the judge was based on the testimony by three police officers and their account of what transpired.

Ms. Oliver and Ms. Kirkland did not have to dispute the officers' testimony.

Thelma G. Oliver, Randallstown

The writer is the wife of County Councilman Kenneth N. Oliver, the mother of Kelli Oliver and the grandmother of Talaya Kirkland.
