In the next Baltimore City election, voters and businesses should remember: Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake was previously the council president and sat on the Board of Public Works.
Therefore, she was involved in the spending which caused the current budget problem. In fact, most of the current council members were there four years ago.
When they come to your business to place campaign signs in your window, remind them about the bottle tax and say no.
Citizens voted for this all-Democratic council, which wants to change the pensions of police and firefighters without any change to their own pensions.
City voters would be wise to elect new members to the council.
