Archbishop Borders was indeed a good shepherd. His death reminds us at this time that the overwhelming number of our clergy and bishops are good, decent men, with an awesome responsibility, who have dedicated their lives in the service of our Catholic communities and our spiritual lives. They truly deserve our affirming and acknowledging them more often.
