At a time when our state is struggling to pay the bills and keep our schools open, a nefarious plan has been launched to divert tens of millions from our school systems to support private schools.

A proposal called BOAST would let businesses deduct from their taxes potentially tens of milions of dollars which would go to private school scholarships. That's money taken away from the funds desperately needed to keep our public schools open and functioning.

Please call and write your House of Delegates members and tell them that this assault on our public schools to fund private schools for the super-well-to-do must not be passed.
