A reader named Phillip responded to your editorial, "Protests out of bounds" (March 26) by saying that "maybe the Democrats should be listening to what the people want." Maybe they are, Phillip. Maybe they are listening to the quiet majority who have wanted health care reform for quite a long time, the quiet majority who would never spit on anyone or throw bricks or be taken in by inflammatory rhetoric.
