Here's how to make the merger a win for Black & Decker employees

If Nolan Archibald, CEO of Black & Decker, truly believes the merger with Stanley had "nothing to do with greed" ("Black & Decker merger approved," March 13), a nice gesture would be to give each of the 250 corporate workers in Towson who may be "let go" $100,000 of his own money.

This would only cost him $25 million, or 28 percent of his estimated $89 million total compensation over the next three years.
