I enjoyed reading "Stricter laws asked for sex crimes" (Feb. 24). It's good to hear that we are having people actually start to take this issue seriously. I don't think there are enough laws put in place for sex offenders. I agree with more monitoring of them. I don't think they should get time off for good behavior, I think residents should be notified well in advance before a sex offender moves in, and I do think they should be monitored for their lifetime if they are a repeat or violent offender. Thank you for the great update on what the General Assembly is trying to pass.
