With last week's storm coverage The Sun ran several cautionary tales of what happens to big city mayors who bungled snow removal. The careers of mayors in Chicago and New York may have been buried in snow, but far more executives have been done in by neglecting something more mundane -- trash collection.
Unlike snow, there is nothing charming about the trash that is now piling up in Baltimore or the inept effort to resume collection. Madam Mayor, It's been a week since the snow stopped falling; let's figure out how to pick up the trash!
