Dixon: Arrogant and unrepentant to the end

Right down to the day before she deservedly becomes ex-mayor, Sheila Dixon refuses to acknowledge her wrongdoing. What chutzpah!

In her arrogant op-ed piece ("The work we've done," Feb. 3), she omitted one final paragraph which should read: "I also accepted unseemly gifts from developers doing business with the city and did not report them. I spent gift cards I knew full well were intended for the needy. I committed perjury! I am fortunate to escape jail and keep my pension. For the disgrace and broken trust I visited upon Baltimore City, I am truly sorry."

I won't hold my breath, however, waiting to hear any contrition from Ms. Dixon.
