Your report "Neighbors, mall fight proposal for outlets in White Marsh" (Feb. 1) makes one ponder whether the current utilities infrastructure (gas, water, electricity, sewerage) are sufficient to service this mammoth area.
Add to that the displacement of animals who have taken refuge in the area and the effects of increased traffic and this unneeded project should be shelved until such issues are resolved.
This project, if it is ever completed, is a good example of why former Gov. Martin O'Malley's so-called "rain tax" should have included this type of development rather than pointing the finger at homeowners.
