As a Vietnam veteran receiving care at the VA Maryland Health Care System, I compliment Dennis Smith on his efforts, but the wait times continue to be extraordinarily long ("VA Maryland Health Care System is ready to help," Nov. 3).
The care is excellent but requires six months for routine primary care and even longer for specialized appointments and lab results. I urge Mr. Smith to continue his work to improve these unacceptable time frames.
