No more evasion at the housing authority

The news: The sheriff's department this week began the process of seizing vehicles belonging to the Baltimore Housing Authority in preparation for an auction to pay one of the lead paint judgements the agency had been ducking. Our take: This is not a real solution to the problem of the Housing Authority's strategy of refusing to pay lead paint claims, but perhaps it will help the agency take matters more seriously.
