Teachers need to stop whining

Do any other taxpayers find it insulting the teachers unions are complaining about the budget cuts Gov. Larry Hogan has made in his 2015 budget ("Democrats vow to fight Hogan education cuts," Feb. 3)?

Governor Hogan told everyone he was going to reduce the taxes that former Gov. Martin O'Malley created during the past eight years and he was going to cut the fat out of his budgets. Yet Baltimore City continues to cry wolf. The same Baltimore City school system that could not account for millions of dollars when Mr. O'Malley was mayor. The same school system that spent excessively on redoing the CEO's office.

I have no reason to feel for the teachers unions when they continue to support the election of incompetent politicians when the only thing they expect in return is more money. Well wake up, teachers unions, there is no more money than the taxpayers already pay and the taxpayers deserve a balanced budget.
