Oh, ye gods. I knew there was a good reason to vote against Dick Slutzky ("Harford council tightens media and citizen contact rules, gets spokesperson," Dec. 9). This is precisely the kind of paranoid, ignorant and power-hungry attitude that I have come unhappily to associate with the Republican party. Not approach County Council members after a meeting? Not approach our neighbors? The only terrorism I fear right now is the terrorism of a County Council that is all male, all Republican and all white but one. This is clearly not a council that represents me in any way — or a significant percentage of the county's population — or likely gives a hoot.
