Dan Rodricks must be dizzy from all the spin he has put on Gov. Martin O'Malley's land deal that Comptroller Peter Franchot accurately characterized as "sleazy" ("Land deal obscures a pretty good idea," Nov. 20).
You don't have to be John Kenneth Galbraith or Milton Friedman to question a deal where the state initially planned to buy property for $2.8 million and lease it back for $1 a year to a Democratic fundraiser.
Mr. Rodricks' hypocrisy is staggering. If this had been an example of Republican shenanigans, he would be calling for a special prosecutor.
