As a former Baltimore resident now living in Santa Fe, I followed the Orioles with great interest this year, watching many games on my computer and visiting Camden Yards for two games.
Although we are not going to the World Series, I am very proud of what this team accomplished. Getting to the ALCS while missing two All-Stars plus Chris Davis was a major achievement. This was a real team effort, and our manager did a great job of pushing the right buttons.
Things look bright for 2015. The Royals deserve a lot of credit. The O's didn't choke. Besides, wouldn't we rather lose to Kansas City than to the Yankees or the Red Sox?
