The "Obama agenda" is dead. The GOP leaders have publicly issued President Barack Obama his orders, which are this: "Do everything our way or you'll be blamed for nothing getting done" in Washington. The extra bonus of this is that if Mr. Obama obediently signs the conservative legislation that is bound to issue from our newly-Republicanized Congress, any negative outcomes from said laws will be laid at his feet as well.
In effect, the GOP now has complete control of the federal government and no accountability to the voters. A Republican president would not be nearly as advantageous to the party at this juncture. Pay attention. The next two years should be a time of momentous change for us.
