After reading the full text of the speech by Benjamin Netanyahu before the joint session of Congress, I beg to disagree with The Sun's analysis that the speech was pointless ("Netanyahu's speech," March 4). The Israeli prime minister described in detail the threat of a flawed nuclear agreement with Iran that would give that nation further freedom to complete its work on a nuclear bomb that would threaten primarily Israel but also its neighbors and, coupled with long-range missiles, even the United States.
If the speech were pointless, why was there an immediate rebuttal from President Barack Obama and many Congressional members who boycotted the speech? Evidently, the speech spoke the truth about the major flaws in the proposed agreement with Iran.
