Allan Kittleman spoke a lot about "transparency" during his campaign for Howard County executive ("Kittleman takes office, announces first steps," Dec. 2).
So it seems ironic that, unlike the other county executives who were sworn in that day, his was the only ceremony where attendance was by invitation only.
