The Baltimore Sun's editorial "Pulling the plug on Karzai" (July 10) is certainly a gratifying statement addressing the role of American and NATO forces in Afghanistan! How much longer can this country, and specifically President Barack Obama, continue to support our loss of lives and the seemingly endless economic aid there? We should never have gotten involved in the first place. To prolong negotiations appears to be senseless, given Afghan President Hamid Karzai's constant demands. Why not bring everyone home — the sooner, the better!
