Thanks for reporting the good news about efforts to reduce youth unemployment and bravos to the team of leaders who made it happen ("City meets goal to put 8,000 young people to work over summer," June 24).
Though not a panacea for all that ails our city, fuller youth summer employment is a great step in the right direction and a good result that proves what we can do as a city if we all try.
Working together for the needs of our youths works for our city.
