So the Baltimore Ravens tell Janay Rice to apologize and they give her a general script ("Janay Rice says Ravens suggested she apologize," Dec. 2). No mention is made of the thug-like behavior of her then-fiancé, Ray Rice. No mention is made of their drunkenness. What is of utmost importance is the protection of their premier running back who helps them win games. No realization or caring that this attitude reflects that of half a century ago.
Win games! Win games! Win games! That's what this is all about!
Perhaps that is the reason that this team is as mediocre as it's organization.
