Shame on letter-writer Angela Beltram for conflating Alan Dyer's disruptive behavior on the Howard County Board of Education and the issue of diversity on the school board ("Sun misses Ulman's motive for changing school board," Oct. 5).
Mr. Dyer's disruptive behavior and lawsuits as a board member have nothing to do with the issue of the board's lack of racial and geographical diversity.
Ms. Beltram's attempt to link the two reeks of a kind of "soft prejudice" at the very least.
