I cannot believe anyone at The Sun wrote the editorial defending Attorney General Eric Holder with a straight face ("Holder and race," July 16). After I picked myself off the floor from having laughed so much, I had to ask, is this the Eric Holder I have seen, the bag man for Marc Rich and Bill Clinton's infamous pardon? Everyone went home wealthy after that but I never expected to see Mr. Holder on this side of the bars, much less attorney general. And then he was handed a wrapped-up case, the Black Panthers in Philadelphia were intimidating voters at the polls, but he had bigger things to prosecute. Even you had a picture of an armed Black Panther back in 2009. Even then you called it "citizens carrying loaded guns to presidential forums."
