Thanks for your "Sun Investigates" series; I read it each time I see it.
Your report debunking Larry Hogan's claim about Fortune 500 companies, however, I would have boxed and run on Page 1 ("Hogan makes false claim about drop in Fortune 500 companies," Oct. 11).
It deserved that kind of prominence due to the mantra from Mr. Hogan and other GOPers that the O'Malley-Brown administration has been bad for business — a claim I'd think might have resonance with independents and undecided voters.
It is helpful, though, that the reader is made aware that repeated requests for comment went unanswered by Mr. Hogan.
