I found the recent article regarding new rules restricting public access to Harford County Council members amazing ("Harford council tightens media and citizen contact rules, gets spokesperson," Dec. 9). If the recently elected members of the Harford County Council are so afraid of public contact, perhaps they should not have run for public office.
