My advice to her and others of her ilk is to stop meeting behind closed doors to try and figure this out and go into the streets and actually ask the voters. The message is simple. We're tired of the same old, same old whether in Annapolis or in Washington. Unless you ask those who put you into (or out of) office, you'll never get it.
All you do is speculate rather than ask those making the decisions. The Democratic machine in Maryland put out signs, "Vote Democrat." Apparently, they didn't work. Go out into the trenches, Senator Mikulski. Maybe you'll learn something.
