I write to add my voice to the chorus of people supporting Shawn Tarrant's write-in campaign for the Maryland House of Delegates against incumbent Del. Frank M. Conaway Jr. ("5 former candidates back Tarrant's write-in campaign against Conaway," Oct. 28).
Mr. Tarrant has been an exemplary leader in the community and in Annapolis. He is responsive, accessible, committed and respected. The 40th District needs leadership like his in Annapolis.
As a resident of the 40th District and former educator, I know the importance of having a respected fighter for school funding and neighborhood redevelopment. I know the importance of having public representation that makes us proud and makes our school children proud.
