I was shocked and saddened by the announcement of Gov. Larry Hogan's illness. Along with all Marylanders, I wish him a complete and speedy recovery.
I was also shocked and saddened by the heat-related death of a child in a locked car caused apparently by her father's consumption of so much alcohol that he failed to remember what he did with his child ("Father charged with murder after leaving 2-year-old in car for 16 hours,
"Hogan to replace all three members of Baltimore's liquor board,".
Is Governor Hogan running short of compassion for the city, it's communities and its children?
