Why is Del. Maggie McIntosh so confident that the economy is going to bring Maryland out of its financial problems this year ("Budget to have lasting effect," Jan. 27)? Obviously she does not follow the same financial news outlets that I do.
Perhaps she listened too long to President Barack Obama's State of the Union address. I hope she is correct, but...
