Sun only backs Democrats

The Baltimore Sun has endorsed Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown to be Maryland's next governor ("Brown for governor,Big surprise that a liberal newspaper would back the Democrat running for governor. Despite trying to appear to be "fair and balanced," the paper knows where its bread is buttered and will lean that way at the last minute always.

Paraphrasing candidate Joni Ernst of Iowa, "If you can't run on your record, you go negative." This is what Mr. Brown has done. Everyone is tired of the ads saying how dangerous Larry Hogan is, but The Sun seems to think that Mr. Brown has the experience from working with Gov. Martin O'Malley to fix all the problems he helped to create and overlook all his negative campaigning.

Rather than just say it is a toss up at this point, you would rather back the candidate from the party that your paper supports for the most part.
