For The Sun to editorialize emphatically that no politician or protest caused the killings of two police officers in Brooklyn is absolutely ridiculous ("Tragedy in New York," Dec. 23). Did the Sun's crystal ball tell them that? No one, not even the all-knowing Sun, knows for sure why these officers were executed.
What I do know is the shooter posted an Instagram message basically stating he was going to kill two "pigs" in retribution for the killing of black men by the police. And to be sure, these protesters were definitely egged on by the likes of Al Sharpton, Mayor Bill de Blasio and, yes, our divisive, partisan President Barack Obama!
