In a four sentence piece hidden on page 13 of The Sun was a report that Vice President Joe Biden's son, Hunter, was discharged from the U.S. Naval Reserve for testing positive for cocaine ("Biden's son discharged from U.S. Navy reserve after drug test: sources," Oct. 17).
Undoubtedly, if it were the son of a Republican vice president who had been discharged from a branch of the United States armed services, the story would have been prominently reported by your paper on the front page for several days.
