I would like to thank members of the Baltimore City Council who supported a fee on plastic bags ("Council panel approves fee on plastic bags at stores," Nov. 6).
I hope all the members of the City Council vote for the fee! That will be the push I need. I buy my sodas and beer in Baltimore County to avoid the "bottle tax," so while I'm there I might as well do my grocery shopping. And, it's a lot safer! I'm 67 years old and have never had a ZIP code outside of the city. I guess it's time for a change.
